10 february - we eat bread with honey & walnuts

10 february is also known as Haralanbei. According to folk beliefs, Sv.Haralampiy lord of diseases, mainly the plague. The holiday is celebrated mainly in eastern Bulgaria. To prevent from diseases strictly observe the ban does not undertake any work.

The only women's work is to become early, kneading and roast cakes and bread. The bread's decoration is a cross in the middle, a few buds (plague) about it, and end big wreath for health. 

While making bread, one from home go in the church to be blessed honey. 

With this honey deem bread and cakes that are incensed and distributed to health. 

Same copper remain at home for medicine this year. 

In some places, the ritual bread made by pure women leave the village, not to enter the disease in it. According to folk etymology Aralanbey "aralandisva" (prekadyava) land it warms up and can no longer be processed.
